Outreach Foundation

www.theoutreachfoundation.org.

The mission of The Outreach Foundation is to engage Presbyterians in Christ-centered evangelistic mission for the salvation of humankind.  The foundation strives to be a catalyst in helping congregations develop relationships and participate with global partners in God’s mission.  The priorities of this ministry include:

  • Supporting missionaries
  • Planting and building churches
  • Equipping leaders for the global church
  • Caring for vulnerable children
  • Expanding Presbyterian support for mission
  • Changing lives through mission engagement

Each year, the staff and Board of Trustees of The Outreach Foundation receive proposals from a variety of sources. Proposals come from the World Mission offices of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), partner church leaders in other countries, missionaries on the field and local presbyteries. The Outreach Foundation researches these proposals to be sure that they are sound and then recommend projects that need support. These projects represent needs that will not be met unless special gifts are given for the purposes described. The Outreach Foundation maintains regular contact with each project and/or missionary in order to provide up-to-date information.  Every project and missionary supported through The Outreach Foundation is directly involved in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ by word and deed.  If you are interested in the specific projects supported by The Outreach Foundation or would like to become more involved, please visit their website.
