Responding to Christ and the Church, Presbyterian Homes & Family Services, Inc. has existed since 1903 to provide a ministry of healing and nurturing to individuals and their families.  This ministry manifests itself in preventive, rehabilitative, and specialized services through which the Synod, Presbytery, local church and community can meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of children, youth, adults and families.  Presbyterian Homes & Family Services operates five homes for mentally challenged adults and two children’s homes in western Virginia.
