Outreach
First Presbyterian’s Witness and Service Committee is responsible for providing opportunities for the membership of First church to offer Christian witness and service in our local area, our region and the world. Among its many responsibilities is recommending to the Session budget allocations to the Presbytery, Synod and General Assembly for the corporate mission of the Church. The Committee also makes recommendations for local, regional, national and international benevolences.
The purpose of the information provided in this area is to inform the congregation of First Presbyterian Church, members and visitors alike, about the ways that our church is making a difference in the world and to provide some information about the different organizations supported by our church and its members.
